Query Defined
Generally, query is the act of asking a question in order to check the validity or accuracy of a statement or assumption. A database query can be a select query or an action query. A select query is a data retrieval query and an action query asks for additional operations on data, like insertion or deletion.Â
Data query languages are used in databases and analytics platforms to request information in a stylized format. Data query languages like SQL can be difficult to learn and apply. Some databases allow you to select certain parameters from a menu. This method is much easier, but can be somewhat limited in flexibility. A final method to query is Query By Example (QBE). QBE allows you to choose specific fields and values to define your query.
In Data Defined, we make the complex world of data more accessible by breaking down all aspects of the field.
