SaaS Defined
SaaS is an abbreviated term for software as a service. This is a software delivery method hosted by a third-party that allows data to be accessed from almost any device that has an Internet connection. Software companies host and maintain the servers, databases, and code models that make up an application or product.
SaaS has transformed the data space by no longer requiring that companies invest in extensive hardware to host the software, which allows buyers to outsource most of the IT and data team bandwidth to troubleshoot and maintain the software. The SaaS vendor takes care of it all.
In Data Defined, we help make the complex world of data more accessible by explaining some of the most complex aspects of the field.
